               lash extensions

        gallery/12190011_10152747743648039_6307427637688513284_n

Single strands of high quality synthetic lashes are applied onto your natural lashes to enhance and extend. We use a variety of extensions to build the right volume, length and curl for your unique style. We only use the highest quality mink lashes all with a wide variety of thicknesses, curl shape, lash length and durability. With proper care, your extensions will last 4-6 weeks. You should expect to shed most of them throughout the growth cycle of your natural lashes. We recommend coming by for infills when your extensions begin to look sparse.

        CLASSIC LASHES:

The original technique of extensions. One, eyelash extension is applied to one, isolated, natural lash. Perfect for the "I woke up like this" mascara look. You can get as full as you have natural lashes, so if you want a very full look and you have sparse lashes, this isn't going to be your best option. Classic lashes create a stunning natural look and can be completey customised to length, curl type and diameter.

This is best for lash newbies or those who want a natural look , who have a full lash line or want to add length.

        HYBRID /2D LASHES:

Hybrid/2D lashes are the next stage up from Classic lashes. This service combines both techniques of classic and volume to create the best of both worlds. We use methods of applying 2:1 lashes per natural lash to give your lashes more oomph! Perfect for the “I want it fake, but not too fake” look. With both techniques being used, this is a great introduction to volume and seeing the potential it can give. It also is great for those who need just a bit more volume or sparse areas.

        RUSSIAN VOLUME LASHES:

Compared to classic lash extensions, where you could only safely attach one eyelash extension to each natural lash, Russian Volume Lashes (also known as 2D – 8D lashes) breaks through that limitation by having anywhere from 2 to 8 super fine extensions applied to a single natural eyelash, SAFELY.

This has only been made possible thanks to recent technological advancements in the lash extensions manufacturing process, which has enabled manufacturers to create super LIGHT and super FINE extensions.

3D Russian volume lashes is a sustainable volume eyelash technique developed in Russia . Several ultra-lightweight lashes are applied to each individual lash in a way that does not excessively strain the natural eyelash. Sometimes called 3D lashes, 6D. UP TO 8 tiny, fluffy lashes are applied to each individual LASH. There are a variety of looks to choose from; you can go from uber-natural 2D and 3D styles to thicker 4D and 5D, or even go ultra-glam and have 6D or 8D.

In fact, these extensions are so light, that FIVE x 0.07 thickness (Volume Lash) extensions PUT TOGETHER weigh less than ONE x 0.20thickness (Standard Classic Lash) extension on it own. This creates a fluffy, effortlessly full set of lashes.

This is why it's amazing for those who have a sparse lash line, fine lashes or those who want really full lashes.

What are Lash Extensions made of?
Lash Extensions are made of high quality pro fiber synthetic silk or synthetic mink.

How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions Last?
When applied properly eyelash extensions will last between 4-6 weeks, generally the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Like your nails and the hair on your head, your individual eyelashes grow out on a continuous cycle of replenishment. Though the average cycle of a single lash is about 90 days, factors such as your eyelash characteristics, lifestyle, health and general care of your lashes can affect how long an individual lash extension will last.

How often should I get fills?
We recommend getting a lash fill every 3 to 4 weeks. If you wait too long many of your eyelash extensions will fall out and you will require a full set.

How should I prepare for my eyelash appointment?
Please come with very clean Lashes and Lashline, Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser prior to you lash appointment. If you are a contact lens wearer, you may want to remove your contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment, feel free to bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment.

Will lash extentions ruin my natural lashes?
No! Not if you follow the instructions of your Lash Artist, everyone has different lashes; and depending on the condition of your own natural lashes, lash experts should only go to a certain length or thickness above your natural lashes. This is to ensure that your own lashes remain healthy! For example, if your natural lashes are on the shorter, thinner side, realistically you probably won't be able to get a really super heavy full dramatic look, without the possibilty of damaging your natural lashes, they won't last and you will probably be very frustrated with how yucky they can start to look when big clumps of lash extensions start falling out. Please be aware about this and ask your Lash Artist what their opinion is on this!

Can you go blind if the glue gets in your eyes?
No. The adhesive and lashes are applied in a way that is completely harmless. Your eyes are closed the entire time of the procedure. No matter how bad an allergic reaction may get, you will not go blind from this service. The worse case scenario is that you need to go to the eye doctor to get specific eye drops to treat an allergic reaction.

Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?
Yes, you can wear mascara on CLASSIC lashes, but you won’t need it! If you do decide to use mascara DO NOT use oil based or waterproof mascara. Waterproof or any type of oil based mascara can dissolve and break down the adhesive and shorten the life of your lash extensions.

Can I swim, shower, sweat and spa with lashes?
Yes. The specially formulated adhesive is waterproof and allows you to get your lashes wet worry free! But please do not get your new Lash Extensions wet for the first 12 hours after your initial application. This allows for the adhesive to properly cure.

How do I choose the look I want?
Our Lash Extensions are available in mink as well as a number of lengths and thicknesses. We will do a full consult with you to establish what style best suits your eyes, lifestyle or occasion. We will also determine the proper length and weight your lashes can support as each person’s lashes vary in strength and length.

How do I take care of my new Eyelash Extensions?

        • Avoid getting your lashes wet for 12 to 24 hours. Steaming, saunas, tanning beds, and working out/sweating heavily should be avoided for 24-36 hours after lash application to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
        • Avoid getting close to high heat such as (opening the oven or looking over boiling water) Dry high heat and/or lots of moist heat will affect the adhesive and the curl of the lashes, It can also singe the lashes!
        • Use caution when blow-drying hair. Extensive heat on lashes can distort the shape of the extensions. Please be gentle with your lashes.
        • Avoid rubbing, picking and/or pulling at your extensions and natural lashes. This can cause damage to your natural lashes.
        • Don't use oil-based and/or waterproof mascaras or eyeliners.
        • Regular mascara is not recommended for use as it will dissolve the bond of the adhesive with the lashes.
        • If you are going to wear any mascara or eyeliner, please make sure it is a water-based product and only use the recommended brand from your Lash Artist. Only apply mascara to your bottom lashes or the tips of your top lashes as the time gets closer to your regularly scheduled maintenance appointment.
        • If you are feeling the need to apply mascara, you may just want more lashes and you should schedule your maintenance appointment sooner.
        • Avoid creams, eye makeup removers, lotions sunscreens or cleansers containing oils on or near your eyelashes. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.
        • Do Not use Earbuds or Cotton Balls.  The lint can snag your lash extensions and pull your natural lash out.
        • Do Not use an eyelash curler on your extensions, It is best to let your lashes air dry naturally and then you can separate the lashes with a clean spoolie brush ( provided at your appointment)
        • If you do not like wet lashes you may gently close your eyes onto a lint free towel or dry your lashes with a cool fan.
        • Please do not perm or Tint your lashes before or after your lash extension application.
        • Please do not use a regular eyelash curler.
        • Please do not rub your lashes when washing your face.
        • Please do not try to remove the extensions on your own.
        • Please do not cut the extensions ( as you may cut your own lashes).
        • It is not advised to wear excessive makeup with lash extensions, the makeup itself as well as the more thorough cleansing needed will cause the adhesive to break down much more quickly.
        • If necessary please gently comb through the lashes each morning to maintain a good appearance, only putting the brush on the tips of your lashes.
        • Please keep the eye area clean, this is very important. Some ladies love their lashes so much that they don't want to get them wet at all. However, avoiding proper cleansing of the eye area and extensions can result in an eye infection whether wearing eyelash extensions or not.
        • Try and sleep on your back to avoid crushing your extensions in the pillow (silk pillowcases are highly recommended).
        • The "golden rule" for wearing eyelash extensions is other than keeping them clean by washing, the less you touch them the longer they will last.
        • If an allergic reaction is suspected such as swelling, redness or puffiness, in the first case contact the salon. In severe cases, seek medical advice. (Eyelash adhesives generally contain 2-ethoxyethyl 2-cyanoacrylate)
